I worked with Director X, my best friend, whoвЂ™s from Toronto, and Sean Paul, who is like my favourite artist, period. I was a deer in headlights, but knew that I loved dance.

вЂњMy favourite music video to work on would have to be Sean PaulвЂ™s вЂ Gimme the LightвЂ™ because thatвЂ™s the first time I ever choreographed a music video. She basically can-and will-do anything, and she always super challenges herself to be the best that she can possibly be.вЂќ What was your favourite music video to work on? If I were to work with somebody like Pink, if I were to sheвЂ™s a gymnast, sheвЂ™s an athlete, so that movement would look different. RihannaвЂ™s an island girl, so we all know island girls move their hips, very much so. вЂњEverybody has a different fingerprint, so I put them first and I build from that. Then, I just build a physical picture through it.вЂќ How do you make sure that your choreography suits each celebrityвЂ™s individual style? I try to understand, first of all, the music, what theyвЂ™re portraying, and then their weaknesses and their strengths, and see how they emote through their music and whatever it is theyвЂ™re portraying.

IвЂ™m just a reflection of who they are and what they do. вЂњEvery client is different, but one thing that I do is, I basically become their mirror.
